Upgrade of Governance Process
Bob Jolliffe evaluated and defined methods to upgrade the governance process of a large trade association in Nova Scotia. Several improvement opportunities were identified to differentiate the governance and management processes, to upgrade governance and business management practices, and means to save considerable time and money. The Board of Directors accepted the recommendations and engaged Bob for the implementation stage. Facilitated workshop sessions with the Board of Directors enabled the board to define new policies, develop an updated slate of responsibilities and means to discharge them effectively, revise the Board structure, clarify management and board roles and segregate management tasks to the office, upgrade the Board election process, and to develop and adopt a code of ethics.
